The smooth, ovoidal body features an unusual duck-shaped handle and an eagle perched on the rim.

Items such as this were designed for the Grand Tour and meant for the eyes of wealthy and cultured tourists enamored with classical antiquities.
A fine taste born in the 1700s and well alive up until the first decades of the 1800s.
