Władysław Popielarczyk (Szteklin 1925 -1987 Warsaw) - Polish painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 1965 he ran his own gallery in Warsaw, more than 40 of his individual exhibitions were organized, his works were also present in group exhibitions, both in Poland and other countries. In addition to painting, he was involved in happenings, poetry and composing. He also designed and created more than 25 works in public buildings, these included frescoes, mosaics, bas-reliefs and stained glass. Currently, his works are in the National Museum in Warsaw, Poznan and Gdansk, Czestochowa Museum, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Taides Museum in Oulu, Museum of Modern Art in Miami, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Palm Spring Desar Museum and have also found their way into private collections established by Dwight Eisenhower, Urho Kekkonen, Sukarno, Charles de Gaulle and Paul-Henri Spaak. Throughout his life he has been associated with Warsaw.
