A very interesting item strongly related to Galicia and Lodomeria - the Crown Land of the Austrian Empire formed from the seized lands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
A four-page extremely rare on the Polish auction market form of 5 Austrian guilders (at the same time of the Holy Roman Empire) of 1806. - The so-called Bankozetli, which in the former Polish lands were called RYŃSKICH.
The 1806 issue was the first on which the value of money appears in Polish. For this reason, it undoubtedly deserves the attention of Polish collectors.
The offered form is the aftermath of the Viennese issuer's information activities. Among other things, they were used to disseminate information among the inhabitants of the Monarchy about the appearance of the new currency.
In addition, the bilingual text (German and Czech) specified, among other things, the rules of circulation of previously issued 1800 guilders.
They were not immediately eliminated from circulation, for given their prevalence in the Austrian monetary system, it was recommended that they continue to be accepted into state coffers.
The form also includes an accompanying "pattern" on differently colored (blue) handmade paper showing the appearance of the obverse and reverse of the new 5 guilder banknotes.
Attention is drawn to the beautifully presented die imprint.
You also can not pass indifferently by the placed watermark consisting, among other things, of the number "5".
Definitely recommended for the best collections !
