Born in 1993. The artist, who works under the pseudonym K. White, is a Polish painter developing his own body of work in the fields of realistic figuration and contemporary realism. In his paintings, he focuses on memory, childhood experiences, interpersonal relationships, and the emotions associated with growing up and the passage of time.
A characteristic element of his work is a monochromatic palette based on shades of white, gray, and black, broken up by a single, intense splash of color. By manipulating light, contrast, and a limited color range, he creates emotionally charged images in which realism blends with symbolic narrative.
The artist works primarily in oil. He creates large-format compositions depicting figures, objects, and situations set in the world of memories, often drawing on the experiences of a generation that came of age in Poland in the 1990s and early 21st century.
His body of work is developed within the framework of his original series: “Before They Started Correcting Us,” “By the Apartment Block,” and “I Watched You Grow Up.” Each of these series represents an attempt to preserve fleeting memories, emotions, and values that shape a person at various stages of life.
Kamil Fałowski’s works have been featured in young artists’ auctions and are part of private collections. The artist consistently develops his own painterly language, based on a combination of realistic technique, restraint in means of expression, and personal narrative.
