Biography
In 1991, she graduated with honors from the University of Arts in Poznań, from the Faculty of Art Education in the Painting Studio of Prof. Piotr C. Kowalski. The artist works in oil and acrylic on canvas. She also has experience with large-scale works and frescoes on historic buildings. She is qualified as an art curator, art critic, and specialist in art analysis. In addition, she works in design. Her painting is characterized by a search for the boundary or connection between figurative and abstract art, within the context of visual scale. She creates primarily in series. The artist explores themes of femininity, particularly in relation to emotions, spirituality, existence, poetry, social norms, canons of beauty, and the search for answers to questions related to these aspects. Her body of work includes numerous series of paintings that have been presented at solo exhibitions in Poland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, Germany, and Italy. Her works are part of museum collections and private collections in Poland and abroad.
