Andrzej Cybura was born in 1976 in Bochnia, where he lives and works. One of the main subjects of his creative interests is the human being and the emotions that accompany him. The artist enjoys blending reality with the imaginary world and is constantly seeking new discoveries.
He has exhibited his works in his hometown and beyond. He has participated in numerous solo and open-air exhibitions, including an invitation from Francisco Torralba to the “Salon de hartexpo” Art Fair in Barcelona, Spain. He displayed a particular aptitude for drawing and painting as early as childhood, but his talent truly blossomed in 1998. His first large-scale works were painted first in pastels and then in oil paints.Although these paintings were mainly copies of well-known works, the artist’s interpretation of them and the technique he employed were impressive. Viewers also appreciated Cybury’s original paintings created during this period, which fall into the category of fantastic realism. Both types of works could be admired, among other places, at an exhibition organized in 2009 in Kraków at the 44th Dettlof Art Salon.A meeting with the artist was also held at a villa in Kraków’s Czerwony Prądnik neighborhood. The buyers of his paintings include private individuals, as well as galleries and the business community.
The artist is frequently invited to participate in cultural events.
