Specialization in book illustration. The artist participated in individual and collective exhibitions. In 1995, she won second place and a silver medal at the National Painting Biennial Bielska Jesien. Her works are in private collections, in Poland, Germany and Switzerland.
'Ms. Edyta Mirga-Jaracz is a painter of undoubted talent. She has an original, personal attitude to the world, expressed in the form of a lyrical, peculiar fairy tale. It is like a story about a better world, where sleep, joy and the desire for brotherhood of adults with children and fauna as "lesser brothers" reign supreme. At times, the artist's paintings give a reminiscence of Chagall's art, but caught up in the old world charm of Greco-Mediterranean antiquity.''
Jozef Lucjan Ząbkowski, Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Painting
'Good thoughts are those that become the Way leading to the light.' - Edyta Jaracz
