The paintings, bordering on figuration and deformation, are rich in color and show the artist's truly expressionistic explorations. Noticeable in these canvases is a great and subtle sensitivity to the surrounding everyday life. Sobel's work is highly regarded by critics and art historians. Judith Sobel's paintings are in many private and museum collections around the world.
