Biography
Painter and printmaker, well-known portraitist. Graduated from the Real School in Stanislawow, and from 1913 took up studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where he studied in the atelier of Wojciech Weiss, Jozef Pankiewicz and Stanislaw Kamocki. He was a member of the "Nurt" group, founded in 1949, and the "Zachęta" group, constituted in 1956.
