_______
Interior designer, university lecturer, stage designer, designer of theatrical costumes and applied art, designer, visual artist by passion. But most importantly - a painter - by true passion.
Graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. For nearly 20 years she has been running her own design office, Janczy Studio, implementing commercial and individual interior design projects throughout the country and Europe. Her work is distinguished by an approach that is one hundred percent focused on the real needs of the owners or users of the space.
Her applied art projects are also noteworthy - furniture created by the designer is distinguished by the rawness of the material and timeless design enclosed in a minimalist form. But always - comfortable, ergonomic and functional.
Her true vocation is to share knowledge with young people and develop interior architecture. As a lecturer, author of many publications, as well as a speaker at the largest events from the world of design in Poland, she not only has a real impact on the shape and level of education, but above all has the opportunity to infect others with her passion and commitment.
Her second incarnation is portrait painting. She devotes herself to it in the evenings, at night, stealing moments from busy days. In her works, she tries to capture everyday scenes of life filled with nostalgic thought contained in man. It is the relativity of man with himself, with the space in which he finds himself, the place he forever signs with his presence, and above all it is the expectation of meeting another human being, with whom emotions, words, moments are exchanged in a synergistic process. In empirical terms, it is the experience of a moment that, although gone, has produced a memory and encapsulated the moment in a vague recollection forever changing the course of events. In theoretical terms, on the other hand, it is the demand for expected results following the encounter itself.
Her portraits maintain the authenticity of the figures presented while emphasizing the essence of passing in motion, which is discernible in the painting technique. The works have been presented at more than a dozen exhibitions.
