The artist wrote about the painting:
"Looking into the blue one can see much more than just color. What I find most mysterious and fascinating is the blue of the seas and oceans along with the secrets it hides. The underwater world is still an undiscovered wonderland teeming with life and delighting with a multitude of colors and shapes. It is the depth of this blue and the magic of the secrets hidden beneath its surface that inspired me to paint this picture."
