Visual artist, painter and creator of original painting objects. Her path to art was not linear - for many years she was associated with the field of management and projects, which today is reflected in the discipline of form, consistency in building cycles and conscious work with the matter and structure of the image. She is a graduate of the Rzeszow University of Technology - computer science and the University of Rzeszow, where she received a Master of Arts degree in painting and drawing. The painting diploma realized under the direction of Prof. Tadeusz Boruta was awarded. Her works have been presented at individual and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including at BWA galleries and at post-competition exhibitions and international events. The artist is a member of the Union of Polish Artists (ZPAP). She also serves as president of the Luminarte Foundation, which works for contemporary art and art education. Renata Masłyk's work is based on combining figurative painting with a clear structure of the picture matter. The artist juxtaposes small, finely detailed figures with vast textural planes, built from raw materials and a dense layer of painting. The contrast between the precisely worked-out figure and the wide, almost abstract space of the structure becomes one of the main means of expression in her works. As a result, the painting functions simultaneously as a representation and as a material object, in which the physicality of the surface, the trace of time and the process of creating the work play an important role. She also paints large-format figurative works in oil, focusing on the expression of figures and emotions. He also creates large-format structural paintings in which texture, matter and spatiality of the composition play an important role. He is eager to experiment with non-obvious materials, such as concrete and jute bags.
