Notes, notes, excerpts. Sentences handwritten on sheets of paper tightly fill the space of the composition. The artist, using secondary notes, created a new artistic entity out of them. Word and image have merged into one. The work intrigues, stimulates reflection, encourages to decipher once important information. It is an example of Teresa Rudowicz's uncommon objects - specific micro-worlds built from a wealth of elements: small everyday objects, fragments of manuscripts or photographs. In her work, the member of the Second Kraków Group drew inspiration from Surrealism, Tashism or abstract painting. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, she began creating distinctive collages.
