Unique Glass Sculpture - Marcin Zielinski
The object of the sale is a unique, author's sculpture made of high quality art glass, set on an elegant, dark pedestal of natural stone (granite). The work depicts a geometrizing, highly expressive form of a human profile.

Technique: Hand-formed, sculpted and frosted glass, combined with a tinted glass body of intense cobalt hue.
Signature: The sculpture bears the artist's own engraved signature "MZ".

About the work:The composition is based on a fascinating contrast of structures and colors. The matte, semi-transparent facial part with precisely drawn lines corresponds with dynamic, deeply textured elements in deep blue. The use of traditional artisanal glassworking techniques makes the sculpture perfectly refract light, changing its character depending on exposure and interior lighting.
