For years the artist has remained one of the most recognizable creators of monumental painting in Poland.
He became famous as the author of hundreds of murals executed at home and abroad, including the longest mural in the world in Legionowo, as well as monumental compositions in Zaspa, Gdansk, at the Warsaw Uprising Museum and in public spaces in Bucharest, Chisinau and Lima, among others.
Born November 25, 1966 in Radom, son of painter Adam Roskowiński. Graduate of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk (1990), doctor of fine arts. He is the originator of Poland's first Monumental Painting Festival in Gdansk (1997) and founder of the Gdansk School of Murals, which set a new direction for Polish mural art . Awarded with, among others, the prestigious Splendor Gedanensis award (2011) and the Silver Cross of
Merit (2020).In recent years, the work of Rafal Roskowiński has focused on unique watercolor, created exclusively in the author's technique and available only in the circulation of collectors.
