The Carrara marble sculpture depicting Hebe on a slightly tapered green and gray marble base. After the pictorial invention by Antionio Canova, as it can be found in executed form from around 1800-1805 in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.

Annotation:
Hebe is the goddess of youth. In classical mythology, it was her task to pour the potion of immortality for the other Greek gods. The drops she was entrusted with administering and distributing are therefore very precious and she is obviously very focused on this task. According to the myth, she nevertheless had a mishap once when she spilled the drink and was cast out. (14111111) (13)
