Chiara Stampacchia has been a professional photographer since 2009.Her work, while spanning various genres, has always been inspired by the topos of the hotel as 'non-place'. In 13 years she has developed more than 30 projects all over the world visiting hotels and their surroundings, portraying with a particular cinematographic and pictorial eye the atmosphere and magic of a transient place that for a few days becomes an intimate and introspective home. Her influences, in addition to cinema, are rooted in American neo-realism (Hopper). She took part in the first European edition of Master Of Photography, won the Celeste Award 2015, and has published and collaborated with the most important magazines in the world: Forbes, Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Gambero Rosso, also making a cover of Rolling Stone Italia. Her hotel series works have been exhibited all over the world, including at the Venice Biennale.
