The photograph is part of Helmut Newton's seven-part "Cyber Women" series, which was created in 2000. Taken at the famous Chateau Mermont hotel in Los Angeles, the work exemplifies Newton's visual language, which combines eroticism, humor and decadence. A total of 500 copies of each photograph were produced; the first 100 are numbered from 1 to 100 and are presented in portfolios of 7 copies each, the remaining loose copies are numbered from 101 to 500.
