Jacek Sroka works in painting, printmaking, and drawing. He has held over one hundred solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous Polish art shows both in Poland and abroad. He is the recipient of awards and honors, including at the Mulhouse Printmaking Biennial (1984), Grafica Atlantica in Reykjavik (1987), the Grand Prix at the Vaasa Print Biennial (1987), the Grand Prix at the Seoul Print Biennial (1988), and the Witold Wojtkiewicz Awards in Kraków (2001). In 2008, a retrospective exhibition of the artist’s work was held at the National Museum in Kraków. His works are included in numerous museum collections (including the National Museum in Kraków; the Metropolitan Museum, New York; the Albertina in Vienna; the National Gallery in Washington, D.C.; the Museu Oscar Niemeyer in Curitiba; and the Utsunomiya Museum of Art in Utsunomiya)
