The original, on the basis of which the presented print was made, was painted in 1910. The work is in the collection of the Belvedere Museum in Vienna, hence the usual name of this image "Belvedere Madonna." The painting entered the Vienna collection around 1925 and the offered chromolithograph probably dates from this period.
