The whole is a multithreaded work entitled by the author " Allegory for All Kind " .
Włodzimierz Szpinger - born in 1942 in Warsaw - painted his first painting at the age of seven. He is a graduate of the current Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk (1972). His art includes easel painting, drawing, printmaking, as well as watercolor and mixed techniques.
Among other things, Szpinger's paintings show inspiration from Flemish and Dutch masters and dark Scandinavian myths. His works also feature the sunny landscapes and bright colors of southern Europe. They are saturated with symbolism and references to the works of the Breughels, Albrecht Durer or Hans Memling.(PAP)
The artist's works have been shown in many museums and art galleries - including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Rotterdam, Dortmund, Bielefeld, Dusseldorf, Gdansk and Warsaw.
