She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of Prof. Andrzej Pietsch and Prof. Włodzimierz Kunz (1984). She also did postgraduate studies in architecture conservation at the Cracow University of Technology. She works in painting, drawing and printmaking. In her work she engages in a dialogue with the old masters, artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer, Caravaggio, Michelangelo and Rembrandt are her source of deepest inspiration. In her painting, she combines classical portraiture with lyrical abstraction.
