Sebastian Pietkiewicz Diploma from the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (now: E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts), 2001. Postgraduate Study of Scenic Space at the Department of Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, 2003. After graduation, he worked as a designer in glass factories: Crystal Glassworks "Sudety" in Szczytna, Economic Glassworks "Ząbkowice" in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Crystal Glassworks "Julia" in Piechowice and Economic Glassworks "Zawiercie" in Zawiercie. Since 2013, the chief designer at the Crystal Glassworks "Julia" in Piechowice. In cooperation with Leroy Merlin and the Institute of Industrial Design, he designed modular flower pots as part of the Well Designed campaign, 2011. Must Have distinction for the "Metropolis" collection and for the "Breakfast Set No. 1" included in the "Polish Table" collection, Łódź Design Festival, 2016. Must Have distinction for the "Blanca" collection and for the "Łatki" wine glasses, Łódź Design Festival, 2017. Participation in 3 solo exhibitions, including: "Cult Forms", BB Gallery, Krakow, 2016, and in more than 20 group exhibitions in Poland, Czech Republic, France, South Korea, Romania and the USA. |
