ON THE ALLEGED FAILURE TO FOLLOW ORDERS
A pamphlet concerning the high-profile case of General Girolamo Ramorino, a corps commander during the November Uprising, who, despite orders, did not rush to Warsaw’s aid, laid down his arms, and defected to Galicia. It contains a letter from Colonel Władysław Zamoyski, former Chief of Staff of the Second Corps, to the editor of the daily newspaper “Trzeci Maj.” Appended are a letter from former Captain J. Kowalski of the General Quartermaster’s Staff to Colonel Zamoyski, and a letter from former Chief of Staff to the President of the Government, Colonel F. Breański, to the editors of the daily newspaper “Trzeci Maj.”
