He was the son of the renowned Lviv painter Feliks Michał Wygrzywalski. During the interwar period, he frequently exhibited at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw, as well as at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts (TPSP), and in Kraków and Lviv, where he gained recognition from the local press. He painted figurative compositions, still lifes, flowers, and landscapes in oils, most often with maritime themes.
