Heidi Altmann (née Plankenhorn) was a German artist born around 1940 in Kehlheim, Bavaria. In high school, she attended the art program at the Donau-Gymnasium in Kelheim. She created linocuts, drawings on paper, and watercolors on board. Many of her works explore themes of religion and spirituality. Her work reveals a fascination with Futurism and Primitivism.
