The work is maintained in the convention of lyrical abstraction. The sweeping gesture and experimental marks, characteristic of the artist's works, built here a fanciful, non-obvious, dynamic composition. The whole is vivid and light in expression, unconstrained by anything.
The painting comes from a series honored by the jury of the 28th National Youth Painting Review "Promotions 2018" in Legnica.
Małgorzata Czyż was born in 1989 in Biała Podlaska. She graduated with honors in Painting and Conservation and Restoration of Modern Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in 2018. She also studied at the Accademia di belle Arti in Palermo in 2017. She currently works in painting, drawing and installation.
The introspection the artist makes in everyday life is reflected in her art. In her paintings, she expresses herself on the reality she finds in a vividly natural and free way. She seeks order in chaos. The uninhibitedness with which she works allows her to release her emotional states and emphasize her individuality. He translates feelings, thoughts into the language of light and colors in a direct, unceremonious, yet subtle way.
