Central Europe, ca. mid-18th century.
Low-rise, with the secreter section straight on the sides and on the top plate, with rounded upper corners, closed with a diagonally arranged flap at the top with a wavy outline, with three drawers (the central one blind) in a wide, wavy panel, supported on four slender cabriole legs with a granular profile. Entirely veneered, inlaid with wide ribbons forming geometric fields and narrow ones arranged in their interiors in decorative, smaller, wavy and intersecting figures. The flap, when set aside, is supported by two slats extending from the chestnut, on the inside with a field lined with green cloth. Inside there are eleven small niches and in the middle at the bottom there is a sliding lid, which hides a compartment in the caseback.
The piece of furniture after conservation, good condition, cracks in the surface, missing the bone end of the right slat and the handle of the right drawer.
