Tin issue minted on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Brotherhood of Mercy in Kraków, 1884. The Brotherhood of Mercy in Kraków was founded by Piotr Skarga in 1554, and in 1557 Piotr Skarga also founded the Pious Bank to lend money to the poor without interest.
