Lithuania Medal 2010 Commemoration of the Battle of Zalgiris. The reverse of the medal depicts a fragment of the Battle of Žalgiris created by artist J. Kalinauskas based on the famous painting of the same name by Janos Mateikas. The medal features an impressive battle scene, with the figure of Grand Duke Vytautas of Lithuania in the foreground. Above, along the edge of the medal, there is an inscription in capital letters for the BATTLE OF ŽALGIRIS, and below, the anniversary date - 600 years. The obverse of the medal depicts the stylized Vytis created by P. Repšys and the carved inscription LITHUANIA VALSTYBĖ, and the date 2010 at the bottom, created by artists Juozas Kalinauskas and Petras Repšys.
