The authorship of the artist was confirmed verbally by Prof. Francesco Leone and Prof. Fernando Mazzocca in accordance with the consignor's tradition.

Within a gothic architecture with pass-reliefs and twisted column inlays in fillets stands the armoured three-quarter figure of a man with a pointing hand and a letter resting next to him, which he appears to have just read. Presumably referring to a literary model. (1411223) (13)
