French painter of 18th century, Sea Landscape with Amphitrite carried bz Tritons

The small-format painting is probably a bozzetto for a larger work.
At the edge of a sea shore with partly foamy waves, the ruler of the seas, Amphitrite, held and carried by tritons. Behind her, floating in front of a high blue sky, is Psyche with a flowing robe and dragonfly wings. The naked Amphitrite is bathed in sun while her face remains in light shadow
