Biography
He studied in Warsaw at the State Academy of Fine Arts (SSP) and the Warsaw University of Technology, as well as at the “La Palette” Academy in Paris. He exhibited in Paris at the Salons des Indépendants, the Salon des Tuileries, and the Salon de Mai. He spent a great deal of time in the south of France. He held solo exhibitions at renowned galleries in Paris and London. From 1922 to 1953, he painted realistic landscapes and portraits. Toward the end of his life, he revisited his Cubist experiments from his youth, creating works that straddled the boundary between figurative and abstract art.
