Biography
Painter and printmaker. She created works using woodcut and etching techniques. She was an important figure in the artistic life of Kielce. She studied Art History at the Jagiellonian University for less than a year. She then began her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received her diploma in 1958. In the early years of her career, she created woodcut series inspired by the story of Tristan and Isolde, as well as etchings based on motifs from Ovid’s *Metamorphoses*. Since 1958, she has been a full member of the Warsaw branch of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP), in the painting section and the printmaking subsection. Her works are held, among others, in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw, the National Library, the National Museum, and the Office of Art Exhibitions in Kielce.
