Otto Scheuerer (1862-1934) German artist, brother of painter Julius Scheuerer. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, under Karl Raupp. He painted landscapes, but above all he was an animalist painter, painting poultry, as well as wild birds - pheasants, black grouse or capercaillie against a landscape background. He also painted elk, roe deer and other game. The artist's paintings, often found on the art market, are still popular today.
