Hand closed, brass binding, gilded. Cross-barbed hilt, with whiskers, quadrilateral in cross-section. The front arm, bent at right angles, forms a bail slightly flared upward and connected to the headstock. Wooden shaft, cross-notched, wrapped in black leather and laced with filigree. A long hood in the shape of a fancy animal head, fixed with a pin in the rear arm of the hilt. The top of the cap riveted with the pin of the head. Head of steel, polished, nickel-plated, with moderate curvature. Profiled on both sides in a single groove filling almost the entire surface of the amphibian. At the height of the hilt, on both sides, etched and gilded decoration on an oxidized background, typical of late 18th and early 19th century heads. The blade is double-edged, the hilt with a claw. P o c h w a s made of wooden shells, covered with black leather, brass fittings, gilded. Long neck with sleeve and movable collar, below it a second riffle. A long shank with a spur. Elements of the hardware on the outer side richly decorated.
