Japanese short sword (carried by a samurai in tandem with a katana); steel head, with the signature of a master armorer on the inner blade at the hilt; handle - tsuka - wooden, covered with sharkskin; the wrapping band and the handle head (kashira) are missing; tsuba - steel, resembling a four-leaf clover in design; habaki ferrule - copper, dryi - steel, openwork, with wavy decoration - ritual and written in gold; scabbard - saya - wooden, covered with black lacquer, with a cutout for a knife - koganata (which is missing).
