Edwardian English Satinwood Game Table

Edwardian English Satinwood Game Table in the second half of the 19th century. The tabletop is composed of four segments, which is why it is called a 'handkerchief' table; when rotated, it creates an almost doubled playing surface.   A dense floral inlay with an amphora in the center enriches the central part, while on the edge, flowers alternate with griffins. The apron beneath the tabletop contains a drawer and follows the same pattern as the tabletop. Four entirely inlaid obelisk-shaped legs are connected by a central joint.   Condition: Excellent Dimensions: 60x60 H75cm Origin: England, 19th century.
