Born in 1985 in Cracow, Poland. Painter, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She studied in the studios of Professors Grzegorz Bednarski and Leszek Misiak; she received her diploma with distinction in 2010. In 2014-2019 she was consistently listed in the top ten of the Kompas Młodej Sztuki ranking; in 2017 and 2018 she won second place in the ranking. Katarzyna Karpowicz's works are in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Gdansk, the Polin Museum in Warsaw, the Municipal Art Gallery in Lodz, and many private collections at home and abroad.

Winner of the Anna Maria Siemieńska Grazella Foundation creative scholarship for outstanding young artists (2019). She lives and works in Krakow. She paints in oil technique on canvas, and works in mixed technique on paper.
A remuneration to the creator under droit de suite (the right to remuneration from the resale of the original piece of the work) may be added to the auctioned price of the works, in accordance with applicable law.
