Pawel WRÓBEL (1913-1984)
Miner, one of the most active members of the circle of amateur visual artists at the "Wieczorek" coal mine's ZDK. In his paintings he depicted Silesian landscapes with characteristic chimneys, heaps, mine shafts. His lively and extremely colorful genre scenes show everyday and festive days of the residents of mining settlements. In addition to painting, the artist practiced sculpture, but he left few works in wood and coal.
