A knight characteristic for the ducats of the second half of the 18th century, with his elbow pushed back and an outstretched hand with a bunch of arrows (tied with „broken” ribbons for the first issues). This is only the third or fourth year minted with dies of J. W. Marmé, who – with a short break in the years 1795–1802 – remained a die sinker in Utrecht until 1810.
