In 1606, the Krakow mint makes an important change. It abandons stamping its coins on a rolling mill, returning to the traditional method of stamp minting. And it is from this second period of operation of this mint under Sigismund III that the present trojak comes from.
It is the type introduced this year, replacing the trojak with the letter K. With the date separated by the Lewart coat of arms in an oval shield.
A variant with a narrower portrait of the king (also known from the Cracow pennies of that year).
Variant with circles at the top and bottom of the reverse.
Dirt. Nice reverse.
