The obverse features a portrait of King Sobhuza II. The reverse depicts the head of an African elephant, the denomination of 20 cents, and the year 1975.
The coin is struck in cupronickel. Weight: 5.65 g; diameter: 23.6 mm.
Catalog mintage: 2,000,000 pieces.
The coin is part of the “Coins of All Nations” collector’s series issued by The Franklin Mint and comes in its original envelope with a postage stamp and postmark.
The envelope is complemented by a 20-cent Swaziland postage stamp depicting both sides of the 1975 20-cent coin, featuring a portrait of King Sobhuza II and an elephant’s head.
The envelope was postmarked on September 6, 1979, with a “First Day of Issue” postmark.
A Certificate of Authenticity is included with the issue.
