Studied at the Institute of Artistic Education of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Częstochowa. He received his diploma in 1985 in the painting studio of Prof. Wincenty Maszkowski. He has presented his works at solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, as well as at numerous group exhibitions. He is the recipient of the Bielska Autumn Award, the J. Spychalski Painting Competition Award, a Distinction at the "Sacrum" Triennial of Fine Arts, 1st Prize at the National Exhibition "Music in Painting" and a Distinction at the Autumn Salon of Fine Arts.
