Biography
The artist's work grows out of his professional experience related to his fascination with light. He translated this inspiration into abstract painting, developing a unique technique. His paintings combine the effect of contrasting blurred forms with multidimensional depth, achieved through the use of thick layers of paint and subtle play of chiaroscuro. The subjects of the works often refer to various emotional states, which, by means of light and space, provoke the viewer to individual interpretation. The artist derives the greatest satisfaction from the fact that each viewer finds something personal in his works, building his own narrative.
His works have been presented in group exhibitions in Warsaw and London, and can be found in private collections in Poland, Spain, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition to his artistic activities, he serves as president of a street lighting maintenance company in Warsaw, which further deepens his artistic sensitivity to light and its properties.
