, "In the series, which was born during many years of walks through the forest in Wrzeszcz and Gutenberg Grove, I am experiencing a renaissance of my own painting. Composition as always - unusual, although I am and feel a sculptor, it was sculpture that provoked me to paint. I never imagined that after my hurricane abstraction would come the time to work outdoors and as a reward - someone would take my first painting, and I would paint the next one in the truly post - impressionist style of van Gogh and Monet combined. I painted such a good series, I experienced such stories that I would like to describe. I will write how it happened that my first portrait of Gutenberg is unsellable in the house of a Danzig architect."
