Wojciech ĆWIERTNIEWICZ (1955)
Studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1976-1981. He is the recipient of, among others, the C. K. Norwid Art Criticism Award and the "Exit" Award 2008. C. K. Norwid Art Criticism Award and the 2008 "Exit" Award. His works are in several public collections (including the National Museum in Krakow, the Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom, the Main Library of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow). He is the author of 63 individual painting exhibitions. He took part in more than 100. collective exhibitions. He published 7 volumes of his diary: "Painter's Diary" (Krakow 2002), "Untitled" (Krakow 2004), "Długa Street" (Krakow 2005), "Untitled (2)" (Krakow 2006), "Year 2006" (Krakow 2007), "2007" (Krakow 2008), "2008" (Krakow 2009). He participated in many individual and group exhibitions.
