Miroslawa Smerek -Bielecka
Lives and works in Olsztyn. She studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. She has repeatedly represented the Olsztyn environment at national and international exhibitions, including participation in the Autumn Salon in Paris in 2001.Author of more than 40 individual exhibitions and dozens of group exhibitions .She was a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and Art in 1984. In 2002 she received a scholarship from the Olsztyn City Council. She and her husband took artistic trips to the USA at the invitation of the Los Angeles gallery and to Brittany, France at the invitation of the Cotes d'Amor district authorities. Since 2005 she has established cooperation with galleries in Denmark and exhibits her paintings there . . She has participated in dozens of plein air painting events at home and abroad. She also organizes plein airs herself . ..Winner of awards and prizes.
