"In painting I am attracted to the power of creating a universe full of mysteries, personal symbols, ambiguous atmosphere in which one can discover new meanings and metaphors. When creating my compositions, I subconsciously feel what is important or interesting to me at a given moment, so I rely heavily on my intuition when working on a painting. Most often I use symbolism from my dreams, but I also weave in motifs from my childhood or landscapes from trips I've taken. I look for connections between the organic nature and the creations of man, where dreamlike yet humorous compositions fuse abstraction with figuration. My paintings often put together from familiar ingredients in effect become a denial of reality, and the objects gain new meanings and become a surreal element of the whole." The artist collaborates with the T L E N art gallery in the Town of Wilanów.
