About the author: Jerzy Skarżyński (16.12.1924 Krakow - 7.01.2004 Krakow) painter, stage designer, draughtsman (also author of comic books), applied graphic designer (publishing graphics), also poster designer, educator. Studied from 1941 to 1943 at the Staatliche Kunstgewerbeschule (State School of Art Industry) in Cracow, then from 1945 to 1948 at the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Cracow and at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology. Since 1969 lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, since 1992 as a full professor. Collaborated with the weekly Przekrój, member of the 2nd Cracow Group. Author since about 1956 of relatively few theatrical, party and film posters often in the climate of surrealism.

Item in quite nice condition, trace of horizontal folding and folding of the poster and slightly damaged margins with creases.
